      This was the punchline of an English movie! Though I didn’t enjoy the movie much, I love this punch line….

                     “It is a good day to launch a blog”

           This is the sentence which I repeated to myself!

Coming to subject proper:

 I started a new blog regarding diseases, treatment, newest modalities in medicine etc. etc.You may be wondering why anyone would bother to read a blog which is full of medical subjects!

Because:

I have started scribbling poems! So this has been a great year for me, in every sense. And I am trying to make diseases appear interesting by representing them in the form of poems, so that my readers may find it more interesting. I have written two posts in this manner and I am happy with the outcome. Be there and leave a comment to start it off….

“As sadness fills my mind and soul”…. Son, you are a budding poet! This is what my mother said to me….It was hard to believe that I have written a poem( Hope you call it a poem!).

 When I felt like writing down, I did!…Please fell free to correct me as the narration continues….

As sadness fills my mind and soul,
I don’t know what to think of,
My world has virtually come to an end.
I can, feel the sadness in my heart,
Pulling me down with lots of weight,
I go out of my house, to be with myself.
In the darkness as I sit alone,
The full moon shining upon me.
The crickets chirping, owls hooting,
A small breeze swept across my face,
I saw garden plants swaying in the breeze,
A thought passed through my mind.
If plants can stand lonely through the night,
If these crickets can stay in the cold,
Why can’t I pass this sadness with a smile,
And wait for the sun to rise.
Yes, I can rise above, and gather myself together.
Hence I rose from the darkness and cold,
And walked into my house of light and warmth.
Thank god,I have a very good life
To live for long with happiness ahead.

After going through many methods to successfully increase my blog traffic, I landed upon this one- A Post A Day.

I have went through many sites which have taught me different methods to increase my blog traffic. There were 100’s of such tricks to increase traffic. I tried a few of those

My blog is a small one and I find it a bit difficult to manage it along with my classes in Medicine. So getting 600-700 visitors per day is great for me, and I have got this surge in visitors shortly after I implemented these ideas, which I think -are golden

1 . Linking to sites with a higher page rank.

This has been useful for me, because it has brought in some visitors. It can be done easily by commenting on other websites, not even requiring a link exchange. The more you comment, more visitors you draw on to your site.

Some sites have a do follow plugin, which shows your last blog post.

A post a day

There is no other method comparable to A post a day. If the content is good, a post a day can get you to great heights. I have been following a blog>>The Underground for last few months. It is a wordpress blog managed by a few young men. It has grown from google pagerank 1 to its current pagerank of 6. I was wonderstuck, because 1 month back the pagerank was 4!

How could they possibly manage this? The only reason I found was their regular posting and good interaction.

So the Keys for increasing your traffic are…

1. Good content

2. Regular posting

3. Good interaction with commentators.
