Best antivirus and antispyware
I was searching for a way to remove the funny.avi virus, since it couldnt be removed by most antivirus programs. I found this beautiful post in yahoo answers. I guess this info would help a lot of my friends searching for an effective way to get rid of this nuissance!!

Its good to run two anti-spywares even if some extra resources are taken.
SuperAntiSpyware does an excellent job. AVG’s full version gets great reviews.

Personally I bought Webroot’s Spysweeper, their product is great and well worth the money. Watch Best Buy ads because sometimes it goes on sale for $10 to $15.

There are free anti-virus scanners availble. They work well. I like AVG and PCTools anti-viruses the best of the free anti-virus programs.
If you are not willing to spend money it is good to have some kind of anti-virus software

I dont know about this funny virus stuff.But in my opinion Kaspersky is the best AV you can get.You can get the full version from http://www.warez-bb.org. The newest version is just about 31 MB.Russians are always the best hackers and therefore the AVs come from there too..Use Kaspersky and you will not regret it..One awkard thing is that it takes a lot of time to complete a Full Scan by Kaspersky.Still, the best in the business..!

Oh you have listed the most effective and well respected antivirus antispyware and firewalls there are. Pc tools is my favourite i use pc tools firewall, pc tools threatfire and pc tools spyware doctor aswell as avg antivirus and diskeeper which is a powerful pc defragmenting program that dramatically increases the speed of your pc by automatically defraging in the background. You should give it a go especially if your running many realtime security software at the same time in the background.
I downloaded lavasoft and it was not able to remove the spyware on my computer. I had to buy TWO spyware programs to finally get rid of the spyware on my computer.

I currently use AVG antispy, which is available along with free AVG antivirus download. But Yahoo antispy is much more effective according to me.
If you can use Kaspersky, I would recommend it, because it is the best one available.
